St. Catherine

Saint Catherine of Alexandria is a martyr who was martyred at the age of 18 at the hands of the pagan ruler Maxentius. The Church includes her among 14 holy helpers in need, whose intercession with God is recognized as particularly effective.

The statue of St. Catherine is beautifully carved from maple wood, hand-painted with fine oil paints and gilded with gold leaf. Available in "natur" or color (natural wood) in various sizes. Made in Italy.

MATERIAL: All wood carvings up to size 24“(60cm) are by default carved from selected Mountain Maple Wood, statues of size 24“ (60cm) or larger are carved from Linden wood (in latin: sacrum lingum), unless otherwise specified.

COLOUR: Due to a nature of our work and materials used, the shades of colours may slightly wary from the published images.

PRODUCTION TIME: approx 1-4 weeks, depending on item and size.
