Saint Philomena

Saint Philomena is the patron saint of youth and children. She is the patron saint against spiritual indifference and lukewarmness. She is a comfort to the sick and suffering, a help to the poor and orphans. She is a helper for mothers who ask for material and spiritual help for their children.

Statue of St. Filomeny is beautifully carved from maple wood, hand-painted with fine oil paints and gilded with gold leaf. Available in color or "natur" (natural wood) finish in various sizes. Life size also available. Made in Italy.

MATERIAL: All wood carvings up to size 24“(60cm) are by default carved from selected Mountain Maple Wood, statues of size 24“ (60cm) or larger are carved from Linden wood (in latin: sacrum lingum), unless otherwise specified.

COLOUR: Due to a nature of our work and materials used, the shades of colours may slightly wary from the published images.

Production time: approx 1-4 weeks, depending on item and size.

Saint Philomena is the second statue that I have bought from Choralis Art, the first one being Saint Joseph. The design is beautiful and befitting, the quality is excellent, and the smooth nuances in the colours makes the statue of Saint Philomena makes it a purchase with which I am very happy.
